ADATA Premier Pro SP300 Review
The implementation of optimized firmware SP300 results in the full use of NAND flash memory components, which to a maximum storage capacity: up to 7% compared to other SSDs that use a controller SandForce. These zero-percent support in the delivery takes place without loss of performance or features, has and can only be done by the 100% detection and classification of the NAND Flash.
With a hard disk installation + hybrid SSD, the SSD acts as a cache instead of main memory mSATA. With this configuration, the system reaches the speed increases, comparable to systems with SSDs as a unit and the largest storage capacity of a mechanical hard drive.
The SP300 uses a SandForce controller with 25 nm chips (MLC) NAND flash. Read / write speeds up to 12,500 / 46 000 IOPS. For energy saving and environmental protection, low power consumption of SSD mSATA significantly reduced electricity costs. If the hard disk and the SP300 together in a hybrid configuration (cache SSD) is used, the cost can be reduced while achieving nearly the execution speed of an SSD as the main unit. Compared to a simple mechanical device, performance improvements of up to 63%.
The SP300 is small and lightweight, at only 50.95 x 30 x 4 mm. It is applicable to many motherboards on the market, which has a slot mSATA, including Z77 Series Motherboard ASUS Maximus (V gene have, Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3 and Z77X Z77P, Z77, H77, P75, B75, Asrock Z77E-ITX) and parent Z68 series (Z68XP-UD3 Gigabyte, Z68XP D3, D3-Z68P-Z68AP and DS3) and laptop (Acer TM8481G; micro-GT70).
